The best way go to Kazimierz Dolny is by train via Puławy Miasto. Kazimierz Dolny is only 15 km from Puławy.

Puławy is at 1,5 hours by train from Warsaw. You can arrive to Puławy by train from Warsaw Railway Stations:

The fast railway line will allow Chopin Airport passengers to get to the city centre in 25 minutes. During the morning and afternoon rush hours trains from the airport to the city centre will run every 10-12 minutes, and outside rush hours approx. every 15 minutes (with more frequent evening service on game days in Warsaw).

The Warsaw Chopin Airport railway station is adjacent to Terminal A. The station’s platform can be accessed through the entrance near the long distance bus terminal.

Trains from Warsaw Chopin Airport to one of the Warsaw Railway Station:

1. Warsaw Western (Warszawa Zachodnia): by SKM’s S2 or S3 line

The train ride from the airport to the city centre takes around 25 minutes. Tickets can be bought at every newsstand and ticket machines at the station or on trains.

Pick-up of conference participants on 9th September after each train from Warsaw arriving to Pulawy Miasto between 15:00 and 22:00. There also will be 2 buses from conference place to Pulawy station on the return day (14.09.2012) scheduled after breakfast and lunch.

There is also a public transport: bus no 12 running from Pulawy Miasto (bus stop in the front of the station). Departure time: 7:20, 8:20, 9:10, 10:20, 11:10, 12:20, 13:20, 14:20, 15:20, 16:20, 17:20, 18:20, 19:20, 20:05. Cost of the ticket is approximately 4 PLN and you should also buy a ticket for luggage (app. 3 PLN/piece). Bus driver sells the tickets. You should get off at Nadrzeczna street in Kazimierz Dolny- there will be 1 km walk (partly uphill).

You can also go to Kazimierz Dolny by taxi from Puławy Miasto railway station. Approximate cost of a taxi is 50-60 PLN (about 12-15 Euro).
