Hakone is a bi-annual symposium, which gathers scientists and engineers working on chemical, physical and technological issues in low temperature discharge plasmas operating at atmospheric pressure.
The objective is to exchange ideas on fundamental aspects of these plasmas and to discuss current developments on their applications in various areas, like gas, water and soil treatment, generation of radiation, surface processing, biomedicine and environment. Hakone provides a forum for sharing knowledge, experience and creative ideas in a friendly atmosphere.
