Conference topics


The purpose of the Joint Conference ELMECO and Seminar AoS is to gather some recently developed and new
aspects of electromagnetic, superconducting and plasma applications in environment protection, material
processing and biotechnology. The events are focused on knowledge exchange in the field of electromagnetic
and plasma devices and processes in environment protection, medicine and material science and modern
superconducting materials and devices. It will promote some practical and industrial applications related
to the subject. The oral and poster sessions are intended. The official conference language will be English.

Publication
Short papers up to two pages prepared according to the rules included in the attached file will be published in the
Conference Proceedings prior to the conference.
Extended papers may be recommended for publication in the regular issue of journal the scientific journals:
• Przegląd Elektrotechniczny,
• Archives of Electrical Engineering,
• Journal of Advanced Oxidation Technologies,
• The European Physical Journal - Applied Physics.
The publication language is English or Polish. The publishing fee will be applied according to the publisher’s rules.

The conference ELMECO will include the following topics:
• plasma and ozone technologies to air, water, soil and wastes decontamination,
• electromagnetic compatibility, influence of electromagnetic fields,
noise and vibration on living organisms and environment monitoring,
• renewable energy sources to supply electrical devices and home power plants,
• computer aided designing of electromagnetic devices and processes,
• micro- and nanomaterials,
• other related subjects.

The seminar Applications of Superconductors, AoS will include the following topics:
• phenomena in superconductors,
• superconducting materials, wires and tapes,
• energy saving superconducting devices (cables, magnets, fault current limiters SFCL,
magnetic energy storage SMES, transformers, bearings, machines, SQUIDs) and their applications.
